In the Government’s new Design Guidance, community panels or forums can be set up by local planning authorities or third sector organisations, such as Civic Societies, to represent the views of local communities by scrutinising plans, policies or applications. PROTECTION, SUSTAINABILITY & RAISING AWARENESS OF HERITAGE ASSETS IN LITTLEHAMPTON We would like to bring your attention to the work of the local Heritage Group with a list of the forthcoming talks and meetings for the group: Tuesday 4th June – Meeting of the Littlehampton Heritage Group, New Millennium Chamber, Manor House, 2pm Tuesday 11th June – Talk: “A history of construction materials” by Michael Driver of the Construction History Society. Starting at 2:15pm in the New Millennium Chamber at the Manor House. Wednesday 26th June – Talk: “Reading Littlehampton Buildings in their Historic Context” , by Dr Sue Berry at 7:30pm in the New Millennium Chamber at the Manor House, lasting for around an hour.
